Clara Schulte
Clara is currently a junior at CU Boulder. She is majoring in
English Literature, minoring in EBIO and Women & Gender Studies, and fulfilling a Writing & Rhetoric certificate. She has spent time at both CU Boulder and Western Colorado University studying Creative Writing. Clara spends a lot of time reading and journaling, and she loves to travel. When she is not studying or working Clara enjoys running, hiking, or binging true-crime podcasts. This is Clara's second year working on Meridian. Poetry Editor |
Alette Aldritch
Alette is a graduate student studying English and specializing in
Creative Writing. Published through CU Scholar and BlazeVox respectively, she enjoys pushing genre conventions with stories of queer detectives, coffee shop wizardry, and long-form puns. When she's not editing for freelance or fun, expanding the world of her Dragon Detective series, or playing Magic: the Gathering with friends, she's likely to be curled up with her fiancé and a good book. Anna Ross is a Junior studying English. Aside from editing for Meridian,
she is a member of the CU Equestrian Team and teaches yoga. In her free time she enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and taking advantage of all the hiking and skiing opportunities Colorado has to offer. Prose Editor |
Bella is currently a freshman at CU Boulder. She is majoring in English
and has a minor in Cinema Studies. She took a gap year and during this gap year had an internship in Hong Kong. She also published her first novel, Scarlet and the Ancient Amulet. She is part of her dorm, William Village East's, community council and has a passion for reading and writing. Sam is a senior studying Creative Writing and Psychology. Their work
has appeared in the 2022 Meridian Creative Arts Journal, and they are currently working on their honors portfolio exploring psychological horror, a melding of their two studies. Christopher is a fourth year studying English and Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology with a minor in Ethnic Studies. With a strong interest in Asian American and refugee studies, he is interested in investigating
via prose and poetry how silence, space, and form inform about the ramifications of diasporic and American culture. Currently, he is examining Vietnamese American literature for his honors thesis.
